Like I said in the match thread, absolute mentality midgets, any sort of pressure and they crumble, our attitude after going 1 up was disgusting, we should've conceded then but somehow fluked a second goal, but we're still dicking around and of course we concede with Wissa completely free in the middle, then we actually controlled the game for once but couldn't get the third and they get one fucking attack and they score because we allowed yet another cross in, just look at Savinho for that equaliser, absolutely pathetic lack of effort to block that cross in and of course Akanji gets beaten in the air like the soft arse that he is.

I don't know what to expect from this team anymore, it's from the sublime to the ridiculous to the sublime to the ridiculous, almost rag-esque comedy at the moment.

i cant work out whats happened to akanji he was like a piece of iron last season. but im not blaming the defense too much - there is no screen in front. Nunes tried but got pulled out of position and kovacic, bernardo, gundogan - none of them are good enough in defensive midfield positions.

are we actually going to buy a seasoned cdm as well - theres no rumours at all and we need two.

no right back being brough in so the solutions is going to be who? Lewis? injured Akanji? injured Stones?

I don’t like to blame pep but if you bring gundogan on leave kovavic on as well how many times are we winning and we concede with him coming on… he’s ideal for cup games but think the league is to quick for him he can’t cover the back four and we struggle to defend anyway!!!
