We played far better than we have for weeks. A lot of positive things to come out of this game. Brentford are good, especially at home. It’s sport and we put in a good performance but a couple of things didn’t go our way. On another day we win that game. No problem
 
Well that was a cracking match - but so frustrating not to win. It is good when teams have a go against us and Brentford were dangerous all the way through the game. Despite that, we missed far too many chances and then failed to control a game when winning.
 
Great subs from Pep…really changed the game…for the worse. Gvardiol & Savinho non defending down the left in the last 10 minutes cost us two points.
Another match we drop points from a winning position…
Great for Phil to nab 2 goals.
Akanji is an absolute carthorse.
I said to my son at 2-1 we could still lose this and we almost did. Dreadful amateurish game management from us.
Really annoying result after working so hard in that second half to get ahead.
 
I don’t see how we make the top 4/5 this season. The fixtures coming up are very tough and if we play like we have been we have no chance.

I wouldn't blame O'Reilly and Mcatee for fucking off. It's a blatant 2 fingers to them both, chucking on pensioners before them.

To be fair we deserved to lose that game on balance. But to chuck away another 2 nil lead away is crazy.

We wasted very good chances again and chucked 2 goals in at the other end.

We will get murdered in February.

I can’t see us getting anything from those games and I’ll include Ipswich on Sunday in that ..

Is that the same Savinho who hasn't a clue when to pass, got lucky with rebound to Foden
 
To throw away a two goal lead is galling but Brentford deserved a draw in the end. It could have been worse but for Gvardiol and the brilliant Nathan Ake. Kevin De Bruyne was brilliant tonight and it's a pity that the finishing didn't match his creativity. I don't know why Kovacic was taken off.

He also needs to learn to pass in the box and not be so selfish. Cost us today.
Very poor part of his game.
 
Very entertaining game, and probably a fair result, but we should have come away with 3 points. On the plus side Kdb, Savinho and Foden all looked lively and had good games. But defensively we were very shaky and the 2 goals conceded were very poor. We are certainly missing Dias.

We were shocking tonight and deserved a big moan from the fans,
Plus How Open are we at the back and Not having a full-back on both flanks is criminal really

The point is sort of a blessing and you take it because I don't think we deserved the 3
if we had lost nobody could say Brentford didn't deserve the win
