Not great, but a win is a win. Grealish was shite again. Sell him for £50m and cut our losses.
Someone has let the idiot out, how many Pep signings have taken a year to blossom?

Agree it’s frustrating but I think his strategy in a tight game where there is a quick turnaround is to trust the players on the pitch to manage the game to a conclusion. Also prevents any subs potentially succumbing to muscle type injuries. Are they also not constantly looking at the performance trackers during a game?Pep's either got to start using his subs or stop complaining that we don't get five subs. I genuinely don't mind which but one or the other please. To complain that we don't get five, then often not even use three or even sometimes one feels very... Klopp-ish.
Sure hes started wearing mascara too...Bobbins isn’t it?
I celebrated the Laporte one as it just looked a good goal from the TV angle. Foden’s I was convinced was offside from first viewing. In reality, both of those goals wouldn’t have been controversial before VAR and nobody would have complained if Laporte’s stood.Yeah it's crazy I didn't celebrate either goal until well after it's a spoiler for sure. Just pause it look at the feet and decide or make the lines thicker and if the overlap it's on. The chances of them stopping the play at the exact time the ball touches the foot is a crap shoot.
Blimey this twunt sounds like kipperty
Must of been watching a different game to me. Apart from a couple of minutes before we scored Brentford offered absolutely nothing going forward.Shambolic to watch. Slow motion for 90 minutes. Too many bad performances to mention. Very fortunate they never nicked a goal. The positives are that we wont play so badly again for a long time. MOTM Foden.
You could see from the freeze-frame when they drew the lines that the ball was already off the turf from Kev's delivery. It had clearly been manipulated to make it appear offside when it obviously wasn't.That laporte goal was not offside. Sure, you can draw lines and time them to make it offside. But it was not.
He doesn't do it all the time, United was the last time we didn't make a sub. By the same train of thought, if we were in no danger of conceding, would we be in anymore danger if he had decided to preserve legs and put a fresh forward on the pitch that will be able to work harder than whoever he replaces?
Either way, it's not something either of us needs to take any further, it's a relatively trivial thing that neither of us will ever know whether it may or may not have an impact on us going forward so I shall leave it there mate.
I know. One fella on the match thread said if we play like this Arsenal will put 3 past us! We looked solid as fuck at the back tonight, all game
