I think both lines should be the thickness of the ball and if they touch it's onside and if there's daylight between them (and the furthest line is the attacker) then it's offside. Fucking simple.

Thickness of the lines makes no difference. The whole of the area behind the leading edge of each could be blocked out - it's where the leading edge ends that counts.

If you can see any of the attacker's overlay showing past the last part of the defender's that's the indicator.

Of course, where the leading edge is drawn from is the key issue.

You could see from the freeze-frame when they drew the lines that the ball was already off the turf from Kev's delivery. It had clearly been manipulated to make it appear offside when it obviously wasn't.

I'd also suggest that if that was the Dippers, VAR wouldn't have come into play either. We must lose 10 goals a season to dodgy maipulated PIGMOL decisions
