We all know this team performs better when they have momentum and playing a busy schedule. This has been nothing but an interruption to our good form. Hopefully one game will be enough to get our form back for Milan. Grealish has hardly played and he’ll be rusty I’m sure as will Rodders and Kev.

Some tough sessions this week will sort that out and playing the rags could be a blessing, they will try and kick the shit out of us.

Hope we wear this season’s gem on Saturday though.

I really thought some of our squad players would put in some great performances in the last three games to show they want to play a big part in the two finals (or even that they’re good enough to play a part at this club long term).

Apart from Foden, none of them did, and it was disappointing to see despite none of the results being important.

However, it’s been a very good season and still could potentially be the greatest in our history. I just hope we can find a way to build ourselves back up to a high performance level for the finals because losing rhythm makes it extremely difficult to get back (seen it so many times with so many teams, where they can’t get back up to that top level).
