With Philips he has no redeeming qualities other than mastering passing back for 90+ minutes and hiding in plain sight.He is shit.Definitely not up to our standard.

Like you say, he’s shown nothing at all and nothing in fact to suggest that another season will make any difference.

Newcastle won’t go anywhere near him, unfortunately. Maybe Villa might want him given that they’re in Europe next season, perhaps Everton will waste some more money and does us a favour, but he’ll be difficult to get rid off given he’s got five years left on his contract.

Another performance to show Palmer is a decent winger but just not quite cut out for the very top.

He's what 19 years old, I've watched him many times at junior level, top prospect in my opinion. Trouble is, he should be playing where Mahrez plays instead of being shoe horned into anywhere that's available.

im not having this 'the players will lose momentum etc etc' if they were injured then yes maybe after a few weeks off, the players are fit and training, they may even have been involved in a 90 minute game behind closed doors for all we know all aranged so they dont get crocked because then we would be moaning,trust in pep everyone

Those complaining about the line-up should remember that game against Brighton in May 2021, when they were allowed by the referee to kick us up and down the park and we spent the entire game shitting ourselves that they were going to injure our best players. And we lost that one anyway.

Absolutely. Our best team has Foden ahead of Mahrez for both games.

More likely Phil will get off the bench before Mahrez does.

League wrapped up

Dead Rubber against a feisty,aggressive Brentford side that kicked fuck out of our second string.

Our Star performers have had a decent rest,no injuries after looking fucked since Madrid second leg for a defining 7 Day period where we can make history.

It was a nothing game today.
