They're a very good team, this will be a tough game and any win would be a great result. Haaland, KDB and co being rested will hopefully make a huge difference. Don't think any new signings will feature but I wouldn't be surprised to see Khusanov come off the bench against Ipswich.

Brentford are 11th, only 4 points above the rags and only won 1 in their last 5. They’re not a very good team.

Brentford has always been a tough game for us since they've been promoted, This will be even more difficult with the wat we are playing so it's going to be a good test for us.

Kovacic
Bernardo
De Bruyne

Doku
Savinho
Haaland

I'd love to see O'Reilly or McAtee get a start but it's unlikely.

Don't fancy us to get much out of this. A draw would be fine, a win would be amazing.

Brentford aren't the most consistent team in the league but they're big, powerful, energetic, and like to play on the break. They also have a shark-eyed finisher in Mbeumo, who is the kind of winger/forward we absolutely hate playing against.

They're absolute dogshit away from home this season but they're solid at the G-Tech and have already beaten Newcastle there in recent weeks. Have lost to Forest and Arsenal but we're not anywhere near their level at the moment.

so so crucial game for us for many reasons. People are understandably cautious with predictions, but we need to win. We do NOT forfeit fight for the trophies this season.

My prediction is we gonna be noticeably better than lately, although game itself gonna be tough. Brentford love the games like this, sitting deep and realying on fast counter attacks and set pieces.

But finally Haaland, KDB, Kovacic, Foden, Lewis, Gvardiol had some breathing space. Pep had some time to train with the team and apply few tweaks. We gonna be better and Brentford gonna need much luck to take points off us.

James McAtee wont start. Unpopular opinion, but he did not merit the start after the Salford game. Hes been quite poor first half. Done the job superbly second half, but its much easier at the point the game is done.

Away pubs?
Lived down that way for a while. Brentford area itself isn't much to talk about, better off having a late lunch and afternoon stroll by the river in Twickenham (Barmy Arms right on the river is good) then get the train on the loop line round to Brentford. Or similar from Richmond or Putney, plenty of decent pubs in either.
