Difficult to predict the line up because of player availability , if everyone is fit i would go for the strongest team possible team against Brentford and The Goons , establish a twelve point lead and sit down with the popcorn and watch Chelski and the Dippers slug it out for 2nd place on Sunday afternoon.
We can rest players for the F.A.Cup match , lets get this title sewn up in double quick time.

Yes, very much a plonker. Surely beating Chelsea at their place was a much bigger game and result.

hahahaha plonker easy tiger

at the time it was but tonight game is a statement game and having 9 point lead over liverpool that will be missing 2 of the 3 main strikers for the ACON will make them feel under pressure.

a big statement game does not need to be vs one of the top 4 teams ? it can be a game like tonight and getting the points on the board to put the rest under pressure.

and as for me being a plonker ? well thank you for taking the time to tall me and put me right
i never knew and all this time i was thinking it was something else

No typical city moments please (:

effectively we can put one of our rivals on a Everest climb with a win..

Can see something like the Villa game this evening, hopefully with the same outcome (:

1-3, Foden should be back in tonight

Foden and grealish should be ready to go, they are more than rested with a point to prove that they deserve a place in the starting 11.

I would rest KDB and Sterling and save them for arsenal.

my squad would be this, stones playing the rodri role as Fernandinho legs have gone. Obviously this isn’t our best 11 but we need to keep arsenal in mind and keep the squad fresh as possible.

grealish foden Jesus

Bernardo gundogen

Stones

zinny Laport ake cancelo

Ederson

Every pre match we have this will be hard, it could be one of our hardest away matches Brentford full strength are a handful against most teams ,but not us, a Brentford team missing 5 of their better players will not be able to live with us they will pile on in the first 10 minutes, but WHEN we get control we will pass them to death, and last 30 mins we will score 3, I'm going for 5-0 to city, they are a decent team but we are 5 levels above

Surprised so many people are leaving Grealish out of the XI. I'd be certainly surprised if Pep benches him two games in a row.

Agree with everyone that it's going to be a tough game. They played some good stuff vs Brighton in the second half and have the ability to break through our press. I imagine we'll be too much for them in the end.
Wouldn’t say his form currently deserves a start but may get in through rotation.

Think it's gonna be Zinch at DM but I have no idea who might start at LB. Maybe Wilson-Esbrand getting his league debut in the starting XI?

I totally agree that we have a very clear advantage in terms of available talent and training, but that doesn’t always translate into 3 points.
The bragging dippers were making similarly disrespectful proclamations on rawk, before they played Leicester last night, and look what happened there. Their celebrating an easy win in advance has had us howling with laughter.

IMO if anyone were so absolutely sure that their team would stroll to a certain win then they wouldn’t be on a forum, they’d be busy remortgaging their house and putting every penny they had on a win.
It’s at 1/6 at Coral (£10k back for every £60k wagered). So easy money for those who know the outcome without a doubt, and they should make a dash for it ;-)

i'm not betting, because i'm rarely right :)

I think my education in this kind of thing came in attending the F.A. Cup final between Leeds and Sunderland (1973). Nobody gave Sunderland a cat in hell's chance, outside of the mackems.

If we go out there tonight knowing that we can lose, and that other than staying up it would be the highlight of the season for all Bees fans if they beat us — we should win…
