How are they playing, for those that may be watching?

As good as we are, those away games to newly promoted teams send shits up me.
I've watched them quite a bit last season and this, they are a decent team when full strength but we should beat their full strength team easily, they are missing a few today and one of their better midfielders has just got his 5th yellow card and will be suspended, their other danger man has just gone off injured as well I don't really rate toney, he does well for them but shouldn't worry us 3-0 Brentford, toney hatrick :)
We will need to not give them any encouragement because their crowd can really push them on I would rate them as a very good championship team

They look like they'll stay up this season (10 pts clear of the bottom 3 as of now). They looked a handful earlier in the season, but they've looked limited tonight. If we don't get sloppy, like we did in the second half this afternoon, we ought to have too much for them. Respect them, but don't fear them.

Another win. Another 3 points

We're in that City groove.

Brighton are about the equivalent of our U23 side (in the way they like to play but are not quite streetwise yet) and they have strolled this so far. Brentford look exactly what they are, a direct, technically limited physical side playing percentage football. If we control the ball and have 70%+ possession then we win by 3.

Counter attacks and set pieces, including long throws are their main weapons.

Taking nothing for granted but we should be comfortable winners here. Could do with wrapping it up early and conserving energy for what will be a difficult game Saturday

If they play like they did tonight we shouldn't have many/any problems.
they played well in the second half. They pose a threat in the air and the crowd will be up for it but even if they grab a lead the quality of players that can come off City's bench should be too much for them.

KDB being subbed early with no injury means he starts
If Walker and Rodri are fit, they will start
I suspect Rodri was given the day off because he was on four yellows. Dias was also on four but his natural replacement, Stones, was injured

So with Rodri fit and Walker and Stones out, I'll go with

....................Eddie
Cancelo...Dias..Laporte..Zinchenko
...KDB.........Rodri .... Grealish
Sterling...... Jesus ......Foden

If Rodri isn't fit, Gundogan to start CDM

Hopefully:

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Cancelo
Gundogan
Bernardo Silva
Jesus
Foden
De Bruyne
Grealish
