Spent most of that screaming at the TV for them to break out quicker rather than allowing Brentford to set up the low block. Lo and behold...

Not the prettiest game you'll ever see but 3 very welcome points.

3 points but a pretty tough watch. First half really poor, second better, but still a long way from where we should be - and will need to be in the fixtures to come.

It's a joke the number of times Haaland gets fouled on the box.
Anywhere outside the box it's a foul.

Another shocking one sided officiating performance and we made very hard work of that, shout out to Ederson in the last 2 games, some critical saves but we seriously have to do something with our poor finishing and set pieces.
At this stage though, 3 points is all that matters but we are not looking great atm with Peps baffling team selection’s

Some of these games are always going to be a slog because the opposition have no ambition to win. Unless we somehow get an early goal, then you just have to grind a 3 points against anti-football opposition, which we did.

Not sure how long some of these lads can last without help from the bench. We can hang in for now but some key players look really tired.

Brentford were absolutely no threat though.
