Another shocking one sided officiating performance and we made very hard work of that, shout out to Ederson in the last 2 games, some critical saves but we seriously have to do something with our poor finishing and set pieces.
At this stage though, 3 points is all that matters but we are not looking great atm with Peps baffling team selection’s

Every game these days is a slog and we look to be running on empty at times. I guess after last season's superb efforts it's hardly surprising there's been a dip. A big problem is our recent new signings can't be trusted to come in and do a job so we have to keep on using the same players. Gundogan and Mahrez have been a huge loss.

Credit to the team for hanging in there in three competitions once again but I fear we won't have enough to finish the job this season. If we come out of it with a trophy though it's been a success.

ground out the result....always going to be difficult. a very negative performance by Brentford so fuck them as they got what they deserved which was absolutely nothing.

The Alvarez experiment isnt helping much but Pep is clearly trying to manage KDB's minutes. Alvarez never stops trying and Im not sure Pep is convinced of the defensive side of KDB's game at present.

Think winning the title will be a stretch this season as the fixtures in March are going to test us and we are not at our best....we may need others to help us and Im not convinced that there are many teams that are going to take points off the scousers - but you never know - Come on Luton!!!! (hahaha - no hope)

I thought we played OK, controlled much of the game, my worry is 58 goal attempts in 2 games, but only 2 goals, that needs to improve. On the plus side, a clean sheet, something we're also not doing enough of.

Its the game man. Cant just roll over cos we want them too. We have to adapt. We should sit deep and compact. We have the best counter attacking weapon out there. When we attck generally were fked as were slow. Leaves us vulnerable to counter and Haaland certainly doesnt thrive like that.

I understand that, not asking to roll over. Every game is near enough exactly the same. I get why they will settle for a point against us but as for entertainment it would be great to see both teams go for it.
