Brentford looked like scoring everytime they went forward. City’s slow, methodic build up is becoming oh so predictable.
Awful.
The performances of stones and Cancello was the worst ive seen by city players since Pep arrived. Cancello didnt have a clue where the attackers were all game and stones wasnt even half arsed in that match.
Gundo was getting bypassed and that was back to the days of his worst performances. KDB was at it at all.
Akanji all over the place
Bernie tried but couldnt affect the game..Haaland just had nothing and didnt look fit or sharp.
Foden only one who looked like he was up for it....
How is everyone blaming the world Cup? Haaland did Jack shit and he isn't going to the world CupNo surprise there, well deserved win for Brentford. They created 4 times as many good goal scoring chances as us. Absolutely shambolic performance against a team with 1 win in their last 9 games, ZERO wins away. Pep has to take a big part of the blame here, none of the players he picked looked interested in trying to win, no desperation at all, and despite that he did absolutely nothing to change anything about it keeping them all on for the entire game, with the exception of Alvarez being subbed on almost to mock all the fans complaining. This has to be one of the worst home games in years from us. Seems like our players care more about WC than the club who pays their wages. Shambolic.
