Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

How many difficult saves did their keeper make? Can’t remember any. We might have had more chances but their’s were more clear cut.
Exactly can have all the possession we want it's what we create from it that matters and from what I saw we created next to nothing today,

Brentford had little possession yet created more threatening chances than us.

We could of easily been 2 or 3 down in the first 10 minutes if it wasn't for Ederson.

I agree. The entire team looked like they were bothering at about 70% effort and intensity today.

I’ve always thought that players care more about their countries than their clubs, and you can see that every time any team wins a trophy and the players get flags of their country to tie round their waist/shoulders… you never see a team win the Euros or World Cup and get a City flag out in their celebrations, do you?
(And this isn’t just City players, I mean all footballers)

But today was very disappointing how they seemingly cared more about their countries today when they were playing FOR CITY TODAY than they cared about City.
Whatever sport you play, the ultimate aim is to compete for your country. In the book Pep Confidential, Pep mentions that internationals are a disruption because when players come back they are so psyched up with having played for their country it takes a day or two to get them back into the routine. I thought today's result was determined by the Gundogan miss and the Brentford defending, not because we weren't trying.

Best manager in the world outplayed again . Wouldn't swap him for anyone but at half-time seriously!!! He needs to check in his Ego because that was a joke we lost 100% because of his ego pathetic management .Could handle up to halftime but FUCK OFF shit management from a genius

Brentford don't piss about playing statistic football.

Can I just say I’m so looking forward to the World Cup 2022. Where I will be transfixed by England and it’s array of superstars. Only problem I’ve got if Rashford gets injured early on after being our biggest threat would Toney be able to take the helm. Or am I being obtuse?
OBTUSE, He's a decent player nothing more, big, strong and a handful but ordinary.
