Brentford (H) | Post-Match Thread

You can blame the ref or the world cup all you like. That's been coming for a while. Pep needs to learn that substitutions sometimes change a game. His management was as bad as some of the players performances.

Cancelo is an absolute shithouse both defensively and for his play acting.
He represents everything that is wrong with football. Hopefully we ship him off to the continent where he belongs.

Why is it that everytime Grealish has a very good game, he gets benched the next game!!! He should have started instead of Gundo who has played in every game recently!

Our defense also has been suspect recently and Ederson could have done better with their 2 goals

We got what we deserved. Now we pick ourselves up and get ready for the next... oh wait, its the World Cup next!!! Can't believe we had to end this part of the season with a defeat at home to Brentford!!!

I am going to hibernate for the next month and a bit!
 
What was the lack of subs about as well, just Alvarez being subbed on. When there’s 100m player on the fucking bench & Mahrez who performed well mid week. We was trying to force it to Haaland far too much & Brentford knew it from the start

We were vile.diving all over the shop , embarrased by the cheating from city
 
Missed my first home match since 2015 and will comment on our defence being dreadful today. Eddie kept us in it. Was begging for a point with 20 mins to go.

Shite. Floating balls over Haaland's head like we think all we need to do is put the ball within 10 metres of him and he'll score. Ridiculous number of overhit passes. A shambles defensively at times. Ederson the only player to come out of that with any credit.
