Foden/Ederson possibly the only guys at the races today. Heads were all over the place. Ref wanted to do absolutely anything to slow down the pace of the game. Haaland looked like he needed a sleeping bag and a tent with all the time he was lying on the grass. That Toney is quite a player. Cannot say that Brentford did not deserve it as it could have been quite a bit worse. They certainly had the chances. KDB and Gundog both had their boots on the wrong feet. That's that for a while so needs to be put to bed and forgotten about. Start again.

He is not a right back by any stretch of the imagination slows it all down and not the passer / crosser of good balls!

Haaland will get healthy. Belgium always overplay and injure KDB. I’m still optimistic but not because I think the break will recharge us

Nothing to do with VAR or refs....

If you cant be sure you cant give it....and you couldnt tell where the handball was over/on the line or not fromthe angles
none of the supposed fouls were penalties
Cancellos dive was a disrgace
Brentford deserved that and we were awful - especially the performances of Stoens and Cancello

Bullshit. The one on Laporte is a penalty. The handball is CLEARLY on the line. There was another handball by Rico Henry swept under the rug. ref refused to book Toney l, who should have been booked 2 times - then scores the winner.

Firstly, fair fucks to Brentford they played with desire, energy and determination and deserved the win.

Second, I’m absolutely baffled how not only did he not start, but Grealish didn’t even get on, despite being on fucking fire the previous game.

Third, it was abundantly clear from the tone we set in the first 5 minutes we were a) shitting ourselves about injuries before the WC and b) were thinking we’re that good we can get away with half a shift v Brentford.

Unprofessional from every single one of them and got what they deserved. Fuck all.

Might well have our work cut out in the 2nd part of the season.

Cant complain about that result. Terrible both defensively and in attack right from the start. But that result has been comming for weeks, been pretty avarage since the rags game. Ederson our best player keeping us in the game.
Im starting to get tired of the constant chopping and changing at the back, we need to chose our best two and stick with them. No wonder we look shakey and struggle to keep clean sheets.
