He has more than deserved it. Always an excellent option against parked buses with his technical ability to break open midfield and (as Pep says) timing his runs into the box at the perfect time

He was great and scored crucial goals in the past two seasons when we were playing with a false 9
However, the team now plays in a different style, and we don't rely on our midfielders to score
I don't want to compare Bernardo to Gundogan as an 8, but lets just say that for this game I feel that Bernardo would be more suitable for us
