No idea, didnt he used to narrate some of the older season review videos as well?
Yep, he did the c. 1989-1991 ones.
2 words readily spring to mind when I think of him...."ohhh noo"
that was Peter Barnes - Clarkie was great and hosted some gigs for City quite recently
I meant when you heard those immortal words, you just knew the studio was crossing to Brian Clarke's match :(

He started the trend of shit season review video commentators
I only ever heard his voice sitting in the car parked in Yew Tree road before a game - is he on here?

Must have been so proud when he found that a well-known Bluemooon catchphrase was named after him.

He had names for the players like Walsh, Beagrie and Quinn
The Artful Dodger for Beagrie

He went through a phase of rarely using proper names during commentary. Paul Walsh was the Little Genius and Niall was the Big Irishman. I think Kinkladze was always referred to as the Tiger from Tblisi! Very bizzare.

Thanks, couldn't recall Walsh's name, but yes, you'd be listening to ''The Little Genius, turns on a sixpence and passes to the Artful Dodger, onto the Big Irishman....... ''
