OK BimboBob if I mention sygnac not sure how it's spelt and his experiment regarding light, liquid and lens and his findings on the ether moving and not earth is this surly not an example of the alternative, using earth's curvature calculator of 8 inches per mile squared is surely a way of explaining that objects such as landmarks, mountains lighthouses that are far away (50-100-150-200)miles should clearly be hidden behind miles of curvature but they are not. Gyroscopes and artificial horizon to keep planes horizontal and flat over the earth. Have you ever experienced during flying your plane constantly dipping its nose to keep parallel and keep constant altitude because I haven't. Like I say these are a few findings and observations along with dozens and dozens that stopped me and grabbed my attention. I make no claims to how everything works, how big or how high just simply the fact that everything I was told as a child may not be exactly how it is. Hope you can accept my interpretation of my surroundings, as regards to guess work ill leave that to the experts distance to the stars, how old earth is, rockets going into space and into the vacuum, I'm pretty certain nothing propels it's self against nothing. Now as long as those clowns on here talk with respect fine, like I have said previously I used to believe and accept the spinning ball but not for over 3 years now.
Have you tried to google his name and his findings? You can then present this as "proof" of your suppositions for critical review by your peers.

You say you make no claims as to how things work but you dismiss the explanation of how thinks work from experts in their field, from astronomers, astro physicists, geologists, rocket scientists, telecommunication experts, pilots, sailors and explorers. You have yet to show one shred of evidence from the so called experts you believe in (you've researched the field so well you don't even remember the name of the bloke you keep quoting) and you can't answer the simple question of why there is a global cover up.

Asked and answered. It’s why the higher up you are, the further you can see.

Yes and he’s been discredited by everyone.

You wouldn’t feel anything dip as you remain at the same height. This is definitely one for @ChicagoBlue

Then you don’t understand Newton’s 3rd Law of Thermodynamics. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It doesn’t have to push through anything. (Although I suppose it could push through the ‘ether’ if such a thing existed - which it doesn’t)

Have you tried spotting New York with that telescope yet? Should be easy from the coast near Glasgow.
Have you not noticed that you can see further one day then not so the next, something to do with moisture atmosphere temperature, there is only so far you can see, not only that earths curvature calculator will tell you behind miles and miles of curve.

Yeah, yesterday it was fucking grey and miserable and I couldn't see the 500m tall mountain 100m away from my front door, today it's clear and I can see it. That has nothing to do with the curvature of the earth.

The thing is though, I'm on the Irish West Coast and although my telescope can see Europa orbiting Jupiter (when the earth is facing the right way) I can't see New York. Can't even see Greenland.

Can a fly fly in a vacuum, can a rocket propel itself in a vacuum.
