Bridge in Champions League squad, Hargreaves not

BATE, Chelsea, Dinamo Zagreb, Man Ushited, Marseille, Real Madrid, Valencia, and Villarreal all have named their squad players to date....

on the city facebook page it says bridge not included in PL squad but we only have 24 players in it???

don't know why you wouldn't just chuck him in it just in case.

I hope that the club are all singing from the same hymn sheet, because the official PL list on premierleague.com has Bridge listed.

The PL squad is a bit meaningless.

The reality is that, as far as Mancini's concerned, he has a main squad of 23 players, 3 GK's and 20 outfield players. He will not regard Nielsen, Bridge & Onuhua as members of his main squad, but will include Savic & Balotelli.

It's certainly going to make any future transfers interesting. It's quite literally going to be one in one out. And we are at the point now with the core squad that Mancini wouldn't really want to lose anyone. Otherwise any additions mean another player has to be left out of the CL squad.

Perhaps next year Boyata comes in as club trained, we shift out either Lescott or Toure and bring in a top class CB?

Another easy win could be to replace Taylor next year with a club trained youth keeper, freeing up a position.

Lots for Mancini to think about. The likes of Rekik, Suarez and co can't mature soon enough.

He's only been here just over 12 months I think, so it would be 2 more years before he could be included as a "club-trained" player for the CL. Until then he'd have to be registered as one of the 17 non-home grown players.
