Bridge Too Far...

Don't like him. Too weak on the ball, not tenacious enough when challenged. Too rare he comes away with the ball on a 50/ 50. Crossing is awful, as a rule. Overrated.

For me, I'd rather see garrido back, but we all know how stubborn Hughes is. Garrido links up better with Robinho, on the left.

I don't what it is about Bridge, but I think he's not going to improve us any more than what he's giving us.

I'm fooked off with him as a buy.
All Hughes' signings are superb.

hes not been great for us so far, a few errors and cost us a few goals, but remember he has hardly played for 3 years and has just moved to a new area, he is probably still settling down and still trying to get his form back....like with hughes give him time i say.

Why would moving from London to Manchester exclude him for being poor??

Have you read the amount of stick 'The Sunshine Boys' get??!!

Unacceptable excuse.

well for starters no need to have a go, i was just gettin involved in a debate with you.

im not saying that moving to manchester from london is an excuse, im saying its not easy thats all. im using more of the 3 years with only the odd game here and there as the main excuse for him.

but if im gonna get a roasting like that theres no point

PMSL!! You thought I was "having a go"?? And you thought you got "a roasting" from me?!!

Do you have your pillows fluffed for you and have your nails manicured too...?

All I was saying is that the man has had a run of games(since he was bought, in fact) where he has been mostly ineffective. He had more consecutive games under Hughes than either Garrido or Ball.

This, to me, shows the stubborn side of Hughes when it comes to selection. I feel Garrido is just as good, if not better and should be allowed to enter the fray and make Bridge, at least, think he has competition and so ahould improve.

Was that sarcasm...?

i think he needs a left mid who will come back and help it cos robinho doesnt do that
petrov dint do it much aswell

As we've seen, Hughes rarely drops players struggling for form. Nothing to be done. Even if a player is directly responsible for us conceding in consecutive matches. Baffling management.

It IS baffling!! Exactly! And it's stubborn.

When you're wrong and it needs changing, just frigging do it! It's not a battle of wills about your ego, it's about Manchester City.

he is a quality left back,he has got robbie in front off him,who to be fair is not the best at tracking back like swp on the other wing,im not saying he does not track back, but most of the time bridge has to cope with two right sided players coming at him.

PMSL!!

It's AMAZING how Robby seems to get blamed for things, probably inclusive of the goals conceded from Bridge's side of the pitch...
