He was brought in to improve the first team but I don't rate him any better than Gary the spiv. Certainly not worth what we paid for him. He does at least mean we have cover at LB.

He got left isolated a ridiculous number of time today, with Park and the right back on overlap, but i thought he did well. Most of their openings came from long punts down the pitch behind the central defenders, they didn't create much at all otherwise. He could have given us a bit more width with Robbie tucked inside (same with Micah and Elano on the other side) but i don't blame him for concentrating on his defensive game today.

i like him, he's an improvement on what we had, not the best but a step in the right direction.
i have said for a while that our first signing should be clichy though.

I still would rather have him than Ball or Garrido though.
