My house was full and noisy so didn't really listen to the chanting, but I thought I head "IT's happening again! Liverpool, it's happening again" which amused me.

You did hear that. I tried to get my phone out to video it but was too slow.

I'm always surprised how pessimistic it is in there. There's only ever about 5 of us posters with any belief and the rest are just angry all the time.

I realised that my own perception of the match was starting to become much more negative by being in the matchday thread whilst watching. Find it is much easier to stay balanced watching it apart.

And yesterday was very much a day to avoid external pessimism. ;-)

The only reason we got to 98 points is apparently because Liverpool pushed us so intensely, which is an interesting compliment if it weren’t for the fact that we amassed 100 last season under our own steam.
