Standouts for me were Mendy and Garcia. Lovely team performance all round though.
IF......we are exonerated on Monday what implications could that have on our 2014 verdict & sanctions.
Could any fines be repaid......could quantifiable commercial damages be claimed.....are there any other damages arising that could and should be contested.
If not, does anyone think that the club will seek a public statement from Uefa detailing why we’ve been exonerated, declaring us innocent of all charges and wiping the slate clean back to 2014 ?
Pep seems to have been given carte blanche to tease the media with regular references to playing in the CL next season, IF we are successful, tomorrow will rank amongst the biggest and most important victories in our recent history.
Agree, dont know or cant see what he brings to the game. He doesn't seem to do much wrong but then again he doesn't seem to do much right..
It’s about opinions mate, I think he is a disaster waiting to happen Wolves, Chelsea etc. I might be wrong, but I will be very surprised if we do not sign a new left back this summer and not as an understudy. We will see. What a load of crap, if Mendy is so shit how come Salah has been very quiet and done virtually nothing when playing against him?
Agreed everyone has different opinions mate. We definitely need another left back for 2 reasons firstly because of Mendy's shocking injury record and secondly to put pressure on Mendy. It’s about opinions mate, I think he is a disaster waiting to happen Wolves, Chelsea etc. I might be wrong, but I will be very surprised if we do not sign a new left back this summer and not as an understudy. We will see.
I would imagine the 2014 saga will be left at that, both parties signed a deal that it can’t be revisited. If Uefa have done the making it up as they go along again and went back on that agreement I wonder if that is one of the bits of irrefutable evidence as part of the case on this occasion?
That's a dreadful quote. He has a great ability to control the ball and can make some very accurate passes and has a half decent cross. Seems settled in that passing game with Silva etc. Has a good attitude for me, too.
Jesus is the striker who can play out wide. We need a natural number ‘9’. Haaland and Koulibaly, maybe a left back and we’re laughingSwap Aguero for Jesus and Garcia for Stones and that is probably our strongest starting 11.
It just goes to show that we don’t need a huge rebuild in the summer. A top class CB and a striker who can play out wide and we’re good to go.
