Ignore the fact that we were a man down,there were still some shocking performances out there and no more so than Garcia,Rodri and Eddies distribution was abysmal.

I must have said 2 or 3 times 'Eddie doing a Joe Hart again there'.

To be fair, it doesn't help when a blatantly corrupt team of 'officials' have sent Cancelo off (wrongly) in a 50/50 situation with Welshite, so we are reduced to 10 men.

You can see quite easily that Cancelo never took his eyes off the ball while running back......... the problem for me was that it should never have got as far as that.

I was at the game and never heard the booing of the guard of honour - in fact the crowd as far as I could see stood and applauded your boys onto the pitch - and rightly so.

What is your opinion about the refereeing and VAR performances?

Horrible bunch. From booing the guard of honor to booting us up in the air until the 95th minute. See you next season - hopefully @ the Etihad around May time to send the fuckers down.

Was thinking the same, hopefully get these next season at home in May , hopefully with them feeling safe unless we beat them 6 nil or more, with City nothing too play for , and City really go for it and put them down !

I have no idea. I think we know the answers to those questions and it isn't "human error" and it isn't incompetence. It isn't even "clear and obvious error" by all concerned. Could it be "cheating"? Or "corruption"? "You might think so. I couldn't possibly comment." So is it outrageous to believe you're right and "the whole process is bent"? I thought it revealing that Pep was asked what he thought of the refereeing when he was interviewed after the match. Even the interviewer seemed "surprised" at the refereeing (but not VAR!).

Why have the paying customers (the fans) not been given a clear explanation of how the VAR process works. What actually happens at Stockley Park? Who decides which incidents to review? Who provides the images? Who decides to draw the lines and why are they used selectively? How accurate is the technology in terms of freezing frames? How do they decide when the ball has left a player's foot in offside calls? Why does the referee not review more incidents on film?
If the fans are so important than why is no one in the media asking these questions on behalf of their paying customers? The broadcasters just clam up over the whole issue, presumably because they have a commercial stake in the whole rotten business and if the truth was exposed they would lose a lot of revenues. What the fuck is going on with our sport?

What is your opinion about the refereeing and VAR performances?

Firstly congrats on another superb season and a well deserved title - been by far the best team this season and I genuinely hope you beat Chelsea next week.

Thoughts on the game - I agree that the red was soft - I can see why Attwell gave it, but VAR should have downgraded it; however we have been on the wrong end of some shocking VAR decisions this season, so forgive me if I take that one and move quietly on..... I also agree that Jahanbaksh should have seen red - that happened right in front of me, and whilst there was no malice in the challenge it had to be a red. Again, see my previous comment re being on the wrong end of shocking VAR decisions.

Whilst little old Brighton may not be on your radar, this result had been coming - the 1-0 at the Etihad this season, on another day, could have been at least a draw as we were well worthy of a point that day. I thought that we were outstanding last night, and definitely were the hungrier team -

Why were they booing Foden? He looked angry after he scored and cupped his hand to the crowd. He has never done that before. It clearly motivated him but why would Brighton fans slag off one of England's young stars? Foden is not a cheat and doesn't have a bad bone in his body. In fact you could argue that sometimes he needs to be tougher. You deserved to win last night but it's a shame you tried to kick us off the field.

They were booing him early on when he was waiting to take a corner.

Another thing that pisses me off with these wanky commentators is comments like this " that's the first time in 43 years Brighton have beaten City", erm yeah dickhead because we haven't played them for about 35 of those years. Total and utter garbage from Fletcher and that useless woman co commentator. That's the first time we've beaten Cheltenham in 100 years as well, you see where I'm coming from

I think most of your questions are unanswerable certainly by those responsible. A clear explanation of how the VAR process works? Well it depends on who's playing .... what decision d we want ... do we really want to review that decision ... They'd have real fun trying to convince us that "a system" actually exists. The whole thing is reminiscent of "the rule of law" in a dictatorship! As does the tame media. A classic case is the tackle on Gundo. A yellow card just in case ... Moss backs the ref up ... and the media, in the person of Walton agrees. And what on earth was Walton rambling about? His leg was bent so it wouldn't cause injury! A boot foll of studs on the knee? A player moving at pace towards Gundo?! "A yellow card. I'm happy with that."
