Shocking ref and VAR performance,but I’m concerned about being 2 up and falling to pieces at times defensively even allowing for being down to ten men,reckon the crowd energised Brighton as if no crowd tonight that game ends up 2-0 or 2-1 to us,regardless of ten men ..

But they were kicking us around mate. We will be fortunate to have Gundo fit for next week. Although I think he will be ok. But they were allowed to kick us .

I’ve always had the utmost respect for Potter and also Brighton. Especially as I’m Swedish and Potter coached Östersund to the playoffs in Europa League, playing an amazing football.

That is now all out of the window. Playing like thugs kicking the shit out of us in a dead rubber game is fucking horrible. The referees I’m not even gonna start with.

We hardly ever seem to play... okay ish, and come away with a draw. We either play outstanding stuff which thankfully is about 90% of the time and win, or we absolutely shit the bed an lose, and tonight was one of those. Its been an achilles heel for us for a few years now, we are far, far too easy to beat sometimes.
Huge finger pointed at Rodri for that blind back pass, the game was done, and that gave them a lifeline, from then on the outcome was all too predictable.
Poor red card, but Cancelo got himself into a right mess with an air shot clearance. Did something similar against Leeds. And yes it was a penalty for me, but the damage was done by then.
Need a big game against Everton to boost confidence before the big one.

The only positive from this game is that we have experienced a level of Ref corruption that the Pep hater of a Ref in Porto can only dream of.
