So if player stood offside is near the dead ball line and he crosses it back to a player who scores are you saying that’s 2nd phase as it’s gone backwards? It might be shite, but it’s the rules.

Very good coach getting near the maximum out of his side, Newcastle should definitely be going for PotterGreat interview by Potter, beaten by a better side. After a performance like that in the second half many managers would spin it different.
The VAR 'decision' not to bring that back for the offside is purely SUBJECTIVE which makes it susceptible to manipulation and corruption. We ALL know if that was at the other end the penalty would not have stood.Exactly this, soon as the linesman considers ‘next phase’ then he should be putting his flag up, he never, which constitutes to a ‘clear & obvious’ mistake, you know the get out phrase they keep using. Var was brought in to clear up these mistakes (so they said?) not create more confusion. It’s a simple equation, when is offside actually offside, when a player is offside……simples
They are a decent side but not got the finisher they need. They were partly the architects of their own downfall tonight as 3 of our goals were clear errors from them.Brighton were excellent in the second half
Good tip.I always put more than 3 cards in the match on my bet builder now, as know we get at least 2 every match, whether we commit fouls or not.
Mate , it’s a long season no will remember that if he keeps producingCertainly wasn't a steller second half.. Put it down to tired legs from CL?
Foden would be in the POTY race if he didn't miss the first month.
Genuinely how many times have we seen this from us under Pep in the last 5 years? That explosiveness at killing games early reserves so much energy for the long winter months, we are masters at it!The archetypal game of two halves, Clive. But hey; job done. Pocket the three points and move on.
You should see him at parties, balancing two pints of lager on his head, and three pints on each outstretched arm. He's dynamite at beer tricks, Potter.Great interview by Potter, beaten by a better side. After a performance like that in the second half many managers would spin it different.
No. That’s the same phase of play.So if player stood offside is near the dead ball line and he crosses it back to a player who scores are you saying that’s 2nd phase as it’s gone backwards?
He wouldn't know what to do with a genuinely world class team.Good win against a very good side who play attractive football. Potter is definitely worth keeping a close eye on.
I just don’t know how that today can be considered a 2nd phase when we haven’t touched the ball and the whole thing was a single attack. If it ends up back in their half, there may be a case for it, but the ball went wide, then back all about 20 yards from our goal. A couple of passes later and it’s in our box for a pen. Offsides are the easiest thing to give with VAR now part of the game, yet somehow they have managed to fuck up a black and white decision. The exact same thing will happen in another game and offside will be given. Crazy.No. That’s the same phase of play.
Can I just say to all Blues fucking enjoy this period that we are experiencing.
We are blessed, what a fucking team we should embrace every minute Blues it really doesn't get better than this.
Seriously, we are spoilt.
We aren't going to win every game so don't slag the players off, you are witnessing history.
10 years today we rubbed the rag noses in it 6-1 at Cold Scaffold.
Enjoy the fucking ride and get high on it.
Love you all.
He's always been like that. I remember after the FA Cup win at Swansea he was similar when the world wanted him to moan about the referee.Great interview by Potter, beaten by a better side. After a performance like that in the second half many managers would spin it different.
