Not trying to be a dick or anything, but would like to send a quick message to all the flappers ...

We're playing Brighton today.
Sure. But it was ‘only’ Leicester on Monday, we were at home and it took an incredible strike to win. I think we will do it but I don’t think they are going to be a push over.

But I’ve made being wrong into an art form so it’ll probably be 10-0. :)

So the game to reintroduce Mahrez to the first team is "today" it is almost like setting the poor **** up to fail under the extra pressure.

Oh jog on, you always have to act like ‘x’ player’s mum if any poster decides to post honestly based on all the evidence available to them.

Mahrez may be starting, but no amount of mental arithmetics will show he’s part of our strongest line up.

When I want the thought police, I’ll be sure to give you a bell.
Well rather than spit your dummy out, why not wait until the game is over before calling him all the names under the sun.

Much prefer Bernardo in the middle if it means Mahrez on the wing.

Bring on 5pm already! :-)

We are city.its hard to get all those years of being us out of our system

Aye, I know all too well. I'm 53 and first had tickets at Maine Road with my Dad when I was 5 or so. I just remember when we won on the last days in the recent past, the fans all start to think the opposition is Barca or something. Mind you, admittedly the QPR game should have been A LOT less horrendous than it was until the last minutes. Wasn't it West Ham we won against on last day with Pellers ? I remember that pre match thread. People taking about Andy Carrol like he was Messi and speaking like West Ham were world beaters.

Over the shock of Mahrez starting, wouldn't be my choice but what do I know. Trusted Pep so far and I trust the boys in blue no matter where we play or in what league.
These boys combined as a squad are the best I've ever seen since my first game in 69.
Come on you blues.

Just another thought here, if none of us saw this coming then I am sure that Brighton didn't either. They will have identified Bernardo as a threat from the right wing and will hev worked on now to negate him, now they have an hour to suss out what to do with Mahrez and now have to face Bernardo in the middle.
That's another point I was going to make . It could upset Brighton's defensive plan . Sheer variety. Risky but we are going to have take some risks . Better to do that with a player in the final third than in our own back line.
