Thought Laporte was very good, particularly given the time he's been out, no one particularly stood out so went with him. Side note, how quickly Haalands goals have become the norm that scoring 2 doesn't automatically get mom

I watched the game back on Sky and went for Laporte.
Brighton had a great game yesterday and put a lot of pressure on our defence.
Manny is not a full back and he was rinsed a few times for pace.
This left Dias and Laporte with work to do.
Pep can't have expected for Brighton to be so strong.
He expected to play a back 3 with little do with Cancelo having a free role, but it wasn't like that.

Brighton kept overrunning our midfield.

Yeah, Laporte didn't put a foot wrong imo. Quite a few players had off days, but he was very good and gets my vote.
