I do think that Brazil team would have gotten a save out of Ederson. Don't remember Ederson doing anything except catching that volley. We fucked up not taking our chances, we should have had 2/3 in the second half itself.joke performance 2nd half , we made Brighton look like the 1970 Brazil side , the only difference between that performance and the West Brom game was a lucky deflected equaliser, half hearted 2nd half , no pressing. I am not having tiredness it was dis-interest from half the team , we are so much better than that.

It's games like that tonight (especially the 2nd half) which illustrates exactly why I'm more comfortable when we play the top six teams rather than the relegation fodder.

Very comfortable. Never felt worried at all. Predicted we'd win 2-0 which we would have done if Sterling hadn't missed from 12 yards. Credit to BHA, defended well and passed it accurately and never stopped running. City wasteful but played some good stuff at times. Poor finishing kept it close. Lovely finish from Foden proved the difference.
Not a great performance, the last 30 minutes were shit, Foden saved us with that goal, Mahrez, Jesus, Sterling I wouldn't give a shit if these 3 get sold in the summer, also why the fuck didn't Kev take that penalty ? we were one up not three so the designated taker should have it. anyway it's still 3 points.

I said before the game that Brighton are a good side, only let down by being poor up front, very similar to us so would be a tight game. Our finishing was awful as usual but luckily the 1 bit of quality by Foden won it for us but we were fortunate to survive that 2nd half
I hope this thread doesn’t turn into the raheem out/penalty thread. Some clown on the penalty thread just wrote bye bye Sterling. Why are so many on here desperate for him to fail? It was a ridiculous decision to let him take the pen whoever decided that. Anyway a win is a win and we were relatively comfortable and only possibly one point off the top, in a cup final and great draws in the other cups. We’d have never thought that possible a few months ago

Really hard fought win that, Brighton played very well (upped their game)
The defence is once again solid, and not conceded.
However, the only snag is in tight games like that, whether it be against Brighton or Barcelona...when the opportunity to go 2-0 arrives with a given penalty we cannot miss by blasting it over the bar (and that isnt just a moan at raz, but whoever's takes the pen going forward)
It could end up costing us, thankfully tonight it didn't
