Finishing was crap again but it's nice these days knowing one goal is all we need because of Stones and Dias.

Also I really don't think Mahrez had a bad game at all except that miss before he got subbed.

And the fact he kept giving away possession and slowed every attack to a walk which gave them time to organise. He was pants yet again, his pattern is one decent game, five bobbins ones. For an example of his desire look at the counter when Kev broke from their corner every single forward player was moving except Mahrez who didn't even get to the half way line by the time their keeper saved the attempt. A consistent 4/10 performer at the moment which is puzzling.

Basically we were on our A game v chelski and the Rags. Very taxing i agree, but i still think Pep tires players with his demands of rotating all over the pitch during a game, over thinking the opposition. This is Brighton for fucks sake and i know a win is a win, but they looked fitter in 2nd half cos they stayed to a pretty conventional shape, whereas we were trying to be to clever.
This can burn a team out quickly mentally over 90 mins, Lyon being the example.
On a more positive note....thank fuck for the 3 points

You know that BT are cunts when even Peter ‘hates City’ Walton explains clearly that it’s not clear-and-obvious and VAR was right not to pull it back, only for BT to still keep on saying “if it’s a foul why is it not disallowed?”

Not really sure I get the logic there? Walton works for BT too. The question to Lescott afterwards, I think that was to clarify that it doesn’t matter if VAR thought it was a foul or not as it wasn’t clear and obvious.

There’ll have been Brighton fans wondering it, BT basically backed up the on field ref.

We can be thankful their two best players,Bissouma and Lamptey,were missing.

Tiredness maybe,but that doesn't excuse some of our play and poor finishing.
