Not the best game ever but 3 points not arsed. Our run in isn't too bad and think we can crawl over the line just about. Am excited for the end of the false 9 era tho for sure.

Edit to add I didn't see that Stones got injured, hope it's not too serious.

yep. excited for Pep 3.0 with Foden Mahrez and De Bruyne spamming crosses onto Drago’s head and Bernie and Gundo cleaning up the rebounds

what channel is he on? I've been watching on Bein but that annoying argumentative twat on the right is doing my head in
 
Good win against a tough well drilled outfit.

First half the team looked a bit short on confidence, and nervy.

Second half we played much better,and as the game went on we looked more like the Champions we are.

Back on top of the Tree.......get in.

Agreed. We've played a lot worse this season, a lot worse. Brighton were well organised at the back. It needed the opening goal to bring them out of their shell. If we'd got that first goal in the opening quarter of an hour, we could well have gone on to win that game by 4 or 5.

We looked much more balanced when Cancelo went to left back and Stones right back we had better shape and looked a bigger threat going forward. The goal settled the nerves. All in all it was a very good display considering the circumstances it was a must win and the lads went out and had a dominant performance.

By the way we are witnessing the best ever Premier League player. Kevin De Bruyne. WHAT. A . PLAYER.

Supporters were nervous, especially on here but in the stadium too. Totally different atmosphere than at Anfield last night. Team looked perfectly fine to me, but if those nerves start affecting the team we're in trouble.
