Fuck me let’s not completely lose the plot, he won POTY a few months agoWhat has happened to Foden? He had so much promise. His career is taking a nose dive!
Thanks mate for saving me from typing the same, summed up perfectly, abject.I didn’t think I could witness a second half as bad as Lisbon ever again. Jesus what a shitshow that was. Fully deserved win for Brighton who should have easily had 4/5 goals.
This team has zero bollocks when the going gets tough.
Walker - hideous
Lewis - hideous
Gvardiol - what is he doing for their goal?
Gundogan - what a mistake this was
Nunes - Fuck me. Where was he second half? Completely lacking in the right mentality
Foden - gash again
Peps decisions and subs - shite. His decision to play key players in a game he didn’t even want to take seriously (or so he says!) has absolutely cost us .
All in all yet another crap performance in a season of them. Playing well for 30 minute spells isn’t good enough.
I can’t believe he allowed that to carry on happening when Walker and the kid weee struggling so much. It needed another body. It doesn’t always have to be a defender. Surely Silva could have played LB and Lewis switched over to help out. Shocking
Walker has been wank recently.
Saying this, i still believe City will win the league
It was a good competitive match. So did we. Brighton had 4 clear chances (2 goals + a header + 1v1 from Joao), we also had 4 (Savinho 1v1, Haaland goal and another 1v1, and Haaland cross thst was barely deflected). We both had several minor chances: Brighton another header, a long ball for 1v1 that Eddie controlled it well. We had Savinho shot that was barely out, Foden and Gvardiol in the last minutes, Haaland's header feom a corner with no GK... tell me if I am not correct with the assesment of the chances. Entertsining match overall. How did we look solid? For fuck sake Brighton had loads of decent chances. You enjoyed the match? Seriously?
Leave the club in a far worse state than he found it.I was called this that, and the other when I was criticizing us despite us winning earlier in the season, and, well, the chickens have come home to roost. I said giving Walker a three-year extension, despite Pep benching him in the CL final, was utterly ridiculous, and I have been proven right, for over two years now, at that.
The harsh truth is that Pep is more concerned about his net spend and how it looks upon his legacy than the quality of our current squad. I know that will be controversial, but surely this won’t: he’ll leave the club in far worse shape for the next manager than he found it. I refuse to believe he could watch Cole Palmer in our matches/training, day in and day out, and say,’ yeah, he CAN’T go on loan. He either stays or is sold.’ while having the CLUB’s interest at heart.
As I said before, a downturn was expected, but the squad planning has been awful, and if it solely has to do with the charges against us, then fair enough.
We’ve got a fight on our hands for the top four now.
