Once again, everything down Walkers side. He's done a great service for us and I'll always like him for that but please Pep, stop sticking by players that aren't good enough. Get Walker and Nunes gone. I have absolutely no clue what's going on with Foden as well, pulling out of challenges and run at one person throughout the whole game, awful and it's gonna get worse if he doesn't change it.

We've got 3 international defenders out injured. Who else is he meant to play if he benches Walker ?

Absolutely disgraceful stuff. Can't even do the basics right. Developed a weak mentality and can't hang onto a lead. Only a few players are doing their job but we've become bottle jobs!!!

Pep is a spent force. In reality, most managers get a good 10-15 year run if they're a top manager and that's their lot. Pep is probably there now.


Without Haalands goals we would be bottom half. And nobody can say we would play differently and players would make up the goals if he didn't play because they wouldn't, they're all performing shite. Haaland should be looking for his move away.

Every dog has its day and we have. We'll be pretty much on the same downward spiral the rags have been for 10 years.

But that's football. You can dominate forever. English football history tells us that.

I've had a great 3 years supporting city, since 2021 because I wanted to support Grealish but I've lost hope.

Forget the title, top 4 with this squad will be a huge achievement.
We are extremely lucky to have been 2nd as we have been very lucky to get some wins this season. Brentford, Fulham, Wolves etc
God awful squad planning and transfer activity is to blame.
1 striker in the entire squad, wingers bought who offer zero goals or creativity, zero pace, energy and creativity in midfield and a back 4 who are so easy to attack regardless of who plays.
Out Tactics are old fashioned, the game has moved on. Teams now have pace and energy and we have the old tippy tappy possession that is so easy to press and defend against with our squad. Every team knows how to play against us, just defend deep, wait for us to make a mistake then counter us with ease.
You have to look at our coaching set up, awful fitness that we are fucked after 30 mind, dreadful finishing that every game we miss chance after chance when playing well and on top, dreadful set pieces, shocking defending

I’m sure we were in far worse shape in 12th in December few years back and still clawed it back… funny thing is back then I use to get shit about it from other football fans, pep out etc! Four seasons on the bounce from numerous positions I haven’t received shit from people today you know why they know pep will try and turn it around and no one will take us for granted… yes four on the bounce is shit but we’ve been in worse places than this! It’s shit to lose but I wouldn’t want to become entitled

I did post something similar.
I do wonder, something is clearly off.
Maybe it’s just the injuries, burnout or something else but we don’t look that arsed.
Maybe Pep’s told them he’s not extending.
I’d rather that than what could be.
Injuries or not we are night and day to what we once was.

2 glaring things today for me.

1. Nowhere near fit enough as a team.

2. Complete lack of that old trademark hunger and aggression to win the ball back. Where has the “6 second rule” gone?. Their first goal was this in a nutshell. Nunes and Gvardiol just stood there with their thumbs up their arses when it just needed hoofing away. Pathetic. Just lay down and died that last 25 mins.


The only bright spot for me was the kid Simpson-Pusey who I thought had a belting game in a tough context.

We really do need this international break. I hope there’s a big sit down as a group and they pull themselves together and fucking quickly.

No team could carry simultaneous injuries to Rodri, Stones, Aki, Akanji, Grealish, Bobb, KdB.....it's ridiculous.

Injuries might be why we lose, but how we play shouldn't be. Sadly we came into the season deciding to never counter attack and never attack with pace, despite having an otherworldly striker.
