I like this Not good at the mo Come back in mayThink and say what you want, but it is sad to see City fans being impatient with Pep and thinking about a change 2 weeks after we were top of the league with multiple injuries and 3 days after we lost our first CL game in 30 months, breaking an all-time record in Europe in the process. Fickle.
Spot on.
I’ve never seen a football team have as few injuries as we had in that treble season. Cancelo injured Foden in training and then got fucked off, then Foden got appendicitis and that was about it all season.
The lack of injuries won us all three trophies because we had 11 of our best 15 on the pitch almost every week.
We have been extremely naïve since then. Did we think that would last forever in some kind of delusional fantasy? Injuries are part and parcel of the game and we were never going to see another season like the treble season for lack of injuries. Yet we’ve been poor in the transfer market and our squad has drifted in quality since and it’s been highlighted when we have had injuries.
The good thing is, I’m not impressed with any team I’ve seen in England or Europe this season and a few first teamers coming back and we may get ourselves up there, but I think it’s just a bit too much for us this season to win either of the big two.
They seem to have pretty much settled on their best team now and have good depth, saying that they should for the money spent. In all seriousness Chelsea are a dark horse here..
Said from the begging the dippers are our rival for the league not arsenal..
But Chelsea are going to be there or there abouts at the end..
28 games left to play.
I wouldn't be putting huge money on Arsenal winning at Chelsea. Would you?going onto the int. break with 4 losses in a row ffs
dippers winning tonight I guess and Arse somehow tomorrow to make it much worse?
One can critique Pep without it meaning Pep out. There is such a thing...Think and say what you want, but it is sad to see City fans being impatient with Pep and thinking about a change 2 weeks after we were top of the league with multiple injuries and 3 days after we lost our first CL game in 30 months, breaking an all-time record in Europe in the process. Fickle.
And before that we won a lot ..We should have won the league in '77 for exampleWe used to get beat every week
Be a bit more realistic ffs. Our position flattered us. We have been struggling to get to our normal levels of performance since last April.
Yea..They seem to have pretty much settled on their best team now and have good depth, saying that they should for the money spent.
I think they'll get top 4.
