All of them going off this thread! Were there any signs of certain players saying farewell at the end of the game?

Pep ruined Grealish like he’s ruining Doku
Well he’s scored 2 in 3 this season so I think we might. On current form I’m not sure we’d miss him
It's time to log off here if that's the best people can suggest.Mourinho. Would anyone give him a whirl?….
FFS!Mourinho. Would anyone give him a whirl?….
And quite a few on here.err, the manager.
Of course he had bad games. When he started, as a team we pretty much won. Make of that what you will. Last year he got nowhere near the minutes he should have in a side struggling and being loyal to many players who were crap.Jack never stunk the place out. Ever.
We would. He was very good in the first half today with his press, gaining possession and his goal . He missed a great chance and could have scored more but he certainly wasn't our worst today. An occasional long ball to him from Reijnders et al., if that were allowed by Pep, would also bring him into play more and cause the opposition lots of problems .On current form I’m not sure we’d miss him
Who were they? Genuine question. A nasty thought recently crossed my mind...are we signing B class instead of A class because A class players don't want to run the risk of our PL charges? Hoping you guys can debunk that theory.True
But plenty of world-class players were on offer this summer and we walked away
How do mean blunting? You mean preventing them from showing or reaching their full potential. Stifling them ? If that's so then I can concur with you . For example he certainly stifled Grealish although amazingly got one very good season out of him.
That’s what I said in my second sentence !Its simpler than all that... Pep's system requires top level players.
Every replacement player that's come into the squad over the past couple of years is inferior to the player he's replacing. Maybe Gvardiol is the exception.
That's why we've been tapering down for a few years now...
He didn’t really last year though. Pick out the minimal games he started and actually got a chance and he usually played well. Deserved a lot more minutes but peps ego couldn’t do itYeah i realise me saying Jack Stunk the place out was incorrect.
The whole team Stunk the place out.
My bad.
And rightly so because of the money spent . It’s ok saying it takes time which is ok but it’s the sane mundane rubbish football which we are seeing and this is from pep arguably the greatest ever but like alm managers their time comes to an end and pep’s time is up im afraid and yes we all want him to reinvent himself and the team and come again but it ain’t gonna happen and if we carry on it’s gonna get worse and worse.People thinking the transition from one of the greatest English teams ever to another great team would be easy and swift are very naive. It's hard to replace Kevin, Gundo and Bernardo. We'll improve gradually. It will take months, maybe a whole season. The second half of the season is likely to be better than the first. Before that the hysterical reactions on here would be in overdrive.
One thing I'm questioning is playing Lewis at RB. Maybe Pep should try Khusa at RB when Gvardiol comes back.
Good work, you got a fewMourinho. Would anyone give him a whirl?….
I told you before ; the Sky Sports YT channel. 3 minute "highlights" (!) package of every PL game. Free, apart from the annoying ads...Ahh but all I watched was the BBC report. I won’t pay for SKY and after posting my usual fight post on the Match day thread I haven’t seen anything of it.
I guess you’re saying don’t watch MOTD tonight? ;-)

He sure will. These players don’t suit Pep ball. That’s why I think a different manager new tactics will get more out of these playersAnd, I am afraid to say, will probably ruin Cherki.
None of this is a surprise to me. It's going to be a long season.
Never been keen on Marmoush.Today didn’t change my mind.Pep's tactics work fine. We just aren't seeing them. Whether that's because he has adapted them or we haven't signed the right players, or a combination I'm not sure. Our recruitment looks piss poor though when you see the lack of creativity and defensive vulnerability we still have.
Reijnders and Marmoush were guilty of taking far too many touches. We are a pass and move side. You've got Rodri as the metronome playing balls through the line then some players passing and moving and others running the ball into trouble and losing it.
Hopefully a case of not gelling but the early signs are worrying.
