Khaldoon and Mansour need to sort this shitshow out. This goes right to the top. Pep has lost the dressing room and is stuck in a loop of mistakes. They now need to do what’s best for the club.

Depends how you define ‘best for the club’…

Still need 2x fullbacks who can actually defend, and 2 wingers who can actually cross a ball.
Going into this season with Nunes & Lewis at the club is a joke, not having the ability to bring in players who actually improve us is a real worry, and being below the rags is embarrassing, if they beat us next time out it’ll be carnage.
Think Pep is too pig headed to change and needs help.
the lack of decent full backs is just mind boggling.....and our wingers are pants compared to what we had in previous pep teams....whether its the board or peps pig-headedness or both for some of our business i dont know, but its definitely a big worry for me.

Following City since the mid-50s, there were several seasons of great success; league titles, FA cup wins, Europe. These achievements were sporadic, interspersed with mid-table mediocracy and several relegations. That was City, we won, we lost, we accepted it. It defined “Typical City” taking joy when we won games we weren’t supposed to and accepting defeat when beaten by better opposition. Happened often, no “Great Expectations”, and continuing with the Dickens theme “A Tale of Two Cities”, “The best of times, the worst of times”

With the Abu Dhabi take-over, we rocketed to the stratosphere, led by 3 great managers, a world-class squad of players and, for 10 years, we’ve hoovered up all the prizes.

An epoch better to have had and lost, than never had at all. Managers come and go, even the best of them. Just as Pep learnt from Cruyff and Ancelotti, so many upcoming coaches will have learnt from Pep, we will find them. If we do return to “Typical City, then I’m simply getting my old City back, no longer expecting or demanding we win everything. Makes for much more relaxed watching.

Just a personal view.

Was just thinking about the Liverpool vs Arsenal game today... The Tarquin's look like they are in the "post success" phase already... and they've won fuck all!

To be honest The Dippers were not much better and that's after 300M of cash being spunked dup the wall...

Made me feel a bit better tbh...
We won’t take a single point off either of them this season. Streets ahead of us

I don’t even blame pep really. I think he probably got far too much credit when it was going well and is probably getting too much flack now.

Truth is without good players you are nothing and I’m not sure we have a squad capable of mounting a title bid these days.

Just look how far we have fallen. Look at those bench options.

As stated previously, who sells and buys the players? The board or Pep? If Pep then the calibre of the players we have are on him, if not Pep then why is the worlds best manager letting the board pick the transfers?

And .maybe the day trippers can fuc# off and let the real fans back, let's see how the club react to all the glory hunters going, let's see the non transfer of tickets etc then and I agre with what you say

Just seen Brighton's second goal again and Dias jogging back is an absolute disgrace. I wouldn't mind, it wasn't like he played the whole game and he was tired. If that is what you call a leader then we are fucked. Too busy pulling his shorts up his fucking crack on corners than actual defending.
I'm fucking furious with him. Kusanov done more in that game than Dias in all 3 games and that isn't a joke.
been saying this for 12months now, hate saying it because for a few seasons Dias was immense, but for far too long now he’s been woeful, Slow, below average passing, clueless positional sense & worse of all for a unit of a bloke he gets outmuscled to the ball the majority of the time, he’s been atrocious for ages now, he’s an absolute liability nobody wants to admit, i didn’t want to because of his previous excellence, but wether that was a prime walker & a fit Rodri covering for him i don’t know but it’s obvious the opposition target him as a weak link because he is, why we’ve extended his contract instead of going in for Marc Guéhi i have no clue, and Livramento or another top right back considering Nunes & Rico’s competition between each other to see who can play worse.

I saw a team run out of ideas, fight and organisation… we were sleep walking to a defeat before the pen was awarded… its deeply concerning for me that the team is being physically bullied all over the pitch and flat out of ideas in the final third and defensively we defend like school boys.
This has to lie with pep, it’s his job to sort it but I fear just like the careers of many of the treble winners, we are in decline and pep doesn’t have the time or belief to turn this one around
Not suggesting pep should go but more this fine era is in a irreversible decline

I thought Pep said we were changing tactics this season? We haven't yet.
Dreadfull last 25 minutes wwrecks eveything.

Pace at the back is necessary in this Khusanov going off killed us.
But honestly, if you can't get out at the back hoof it down the middle over the top.
Haaland will keep the opposition honest.

How has Pep lost the dressing room?
We're 3 games into a new season with many young new players still getting used to how each other plays.
Players back from their late holidays after the club World Cup and one proper pre season friendly.
Give it time.

What is best for the club in your opinion? Get rid of Pep, Khaldoon resign, Mansoor Jack it all in? Prey tell, I await your insightful input.

The players look sorry for themselves and need to find that ugly snarl again.

Too many down tools when the going gets tough.

Where is the leave nothing behind players?

From the top to bottom the club has went soft. Now we just take the beatings. Talk shit and repeat.

Haaland is still on it. Rico is a better player than you think. Why did Forest want him?
Haaland is not still on it, gets bullied too easily and 1 in 4 is not what we paid for. In saying all that he's a race horse and we dont give him the chance to run.
