Just noticed that Brighton have got even more injuries than us

Although quite a lot of them are 50/50 to make it tomorrow

Would snatch your hand off for a clean sheet tomorrow, probably unlikely the way things are going at the moment. But our midfield and the team in general has to manage the transitions a lot better. I would be tempted to start with Walker (if fit) at rb as Lewis has struggled recently. Would be a big boost to have Kev back, we really miss his creativity.

After the last few results this a huge game. Brighton were very good by all accounts last week and were unlucky against Liverpool. They play well on the counter and pass well through a press which are areas we are really vulnerable at the moment.

Personally I would like to see Akanji at right back but neither Dias or Stones can partner Ake at centre back so we’re likely to see an out of form Lewis or Walker there.

We desperately need to get a better setup in midfield. We are always going to miss Rodri but we haven’t got enough from the likes of Kovacic, Gundogan, Bernardo or Foden in recent matches.

The old typical city, pre takeover, last match before the international break always ended in defeat. We cannot afford to lose tomorrow even though we’re out of form and hit by injuries we desperately need to get a result tomorrow.
Our record with the last game before the international break is shit, usually lose it

We got to this exact same scenario last season, about the same stage in the season. And look what happened. Lets just trust Pep eh? He'll get it right like he always does.
Have to agree with this post for our current situation.

Especially since I dug it up from 9th Dec 2023, after the last time City lost a league match.
