There is a massive Rodri shaped hole in this team. We are so easy to attack and get at the defence. Amazing how by Rodri not playing it shows how key he is to the whole team’s way of playing. I can’t see anything other than another loss at the weekend

I agree. Maybe replace is the wrong word. What I mean is we need a bit of steel and control, that is lacking without Rodri. Of course no one can replace him.

I think the only one we have with a presence in our squad for midfield at the minute is O'Reilly, It would do no harm to give him game time at the minute with our midfield lacking legs to cover ground.

John Stones is the only other option but unfortunately not available for selection.
