It is entirely normal. How the fuck is he injured already?
there has to be something wrong with the way we operate, our rate of injury is not normal

It is entirely normal.
Is that the excuse is itAnd, in Cherki's case, possibly more expected as he gets used to Ljinders pressing requirements
Oh, my mistake! It is entirely normal.
In what context? And, in Cherki's case, possibly more expected as he gets used to Ljinders pressing requirements
I think Foden and Gvardiol are out anyway. Not sure if Rodri is ready to start a game. What I’d like to see:-
Ederson
Khusanov Dias Gvardiol
Nunes Ait-Nouri
Rodri Silva
Reijnders
Foden Haaland
Three at the back. Pace and physicality in the team.
What I think we’ll get:-
Trafford
Lewis Stones Dias Ake
Gonzalez
Reijnders Silva
Doku Haaland Marmoush
Is that the excuse is it
A very fair point. Not entirely sure what you are getting at, but I'd fully expect a player moving from a less intense league, to a more intense one to experience niggles, initially. Particularly when there are increased expectations regarding pressing under the two Peps.
I wonder if it’s it’s more we have the squad size so no reason to push people back - especially this early in the season. Like if this was last year with a smaller squad, maybe these players would at least be on the bench. Also, no reporters ever seem to ask about injuries so we never really know what’s going on!!How the fuck is he injured already?

So, Gvardiol still out, Cherki now injured and Phil has a knock from last week? What is wrong with Gvardiol? We had a terrible injury record last season and it seems we are already up & (not) running this season.
It's wishful thinking on my part, I doubt Pep will use Khusanov in particular, but here is hoping. I think O'Reilly would do well in the middle for us as well, but I don't think Pep will play him either.I think this is a quite possible lineup.
It is similar to mine with the difference of Bernardo to O'Reilly, which I think is likely, and you have chosen Nunes over Lewis.
I think O'Reilly has the potential to be a good physical balance for us. Let's see. It's wishful thinking on my part, I doubt Pep will use Khusanov in particular, but here is hoping. I think O'Reilly would do well in the middle for us as well, but I don't think Pep will play him either.
