Brighton seem even more special than Leicester 2015/2016

Leicester didn't have world cup winners and international players in their ranks like Brighton does. They had non-league players, rejects, outcasts and pizza delivery guys.

No doubting Brighton have been off the scale this season, the only thing that blights that is their inconsistency. To get to the next level they can’t be getting beat 5-1 at home by a poor Everton side, alongside a few other blips..

Love watching them play and I think they will kick on from here if they don’t do a Southampton and sell their top players, if they do, they will end up like Southampton..

Their Biggest worry In conversation with Brighton fans on Wednesday , great away game imo some good pubs

Remember Southampton in 15/16 , where are they now ?

Same will happen to Brighton, being lorded to the heavens for doing well on a shoe string only for the top 6 to pick them clean over the next few seasons

I agree but...

Brighton are a bit different they have something in place they want to build on they have a really in depth scouting network, they're ran perfectly well and to have a Brighton fan owner calmly running things, he is very thorough in taking care of their best interests, he made his money initially from poker then calculated gambling from in depth analysis.

I imagine Brighton are no accident at all Tony Bloom probably has very good knowledge of football analytics from his gambling, he literally made hundreds of millions from gambling so clearly has a tendency to overanalyze things, so he has probably gone out of his way to put in place best people to run the club he supports, so as long as he's there and remains passionate they can carry on doing what they're doing.

It all depends on him and how much he carries on investing in their scouting network to carry on finding these gems, but the Belgian side he purchased and also working wonders with suggests he's seriously thinking heavily about the future.

Leicester had a freak season after managing to place Prime Vardy, Kante and Mahrez on the same team at the same time, but lets be honest, the rest of the title contenders were all crap that season.

What Brighton are doing is even better, imo. Yes, they wont win the league, but thats because Pep and Man City are around. But, they have assembled an incredible amount of young talent for very little, and seemingly, already have replacements at the club for when they sell the current crop.

I've never seen a small team manage to assemble such talent, all the whilst playing scintillating football, the second best in England.

Brighton won’t last unfortunately. A team that sells its best players can’t keep replacing them forever more. Burnley we’re an example of this.

As good as Brighton have been, and they have been excellent, not one of their players comes close to peak Mahrez, Vardy and Kante.
