Bring the Noise

They sound like the sort of group they should be. Like a Trade Union for fans.

That’s exactly what it is. They strengthened their hand like I said by allying with other notable groups of clubs as well as the likes of the FSF. That gave them even more credibility and legitimised them as a serious force. Of course FSG knew what they could do in terms of getting things done seriously, that’s how they ended up in there. But even after bringing them into the fold, the speed of the organisation of the 77 minute walkout and the scale on which it happened blew them away. In less than five days through word of mouth and networking, nearly 25,000 people walked out at the same time. That’s impressive by any measure. They’re the sort of people you want by your side.

yes its crazy how our stadium has ended up a miss match with sections all over. Probably down to trying to suit to many bands of supporters and throwing corporate areas in where ever had room for it. We are battling against to many chiefs to get it exactly right. Having said that we have some great contacts at the club who are just as much up for a good atmosphere and singing end as us so this helps. It has also got to the point where a lot of fans have got stuck in the seats they have sat in for the last 9 or 10 years and don't really want to move.

Typical is the mention of safestand, fans and the club are all debating where it should go. We have had the discussion for 2 or 3 seasons about the north stand expansion, this is perfect for a singing end and safestand. But some fans say they want to be near the away section for banter or we should have safestand in tier three south stand. I guess when the safestand comes in at your place it will go in the kop end without a doubt. Certainly makes planning a lot easier this way

Again, I was saying to PC the other day that we’ll be the last to do it if at all. The fans are right behind it, they’d have a safe stand Kop tomorrow, but the families are the only and main concern. Some have outdated views on it but they’ve lost kids over it so they can say what they want. From our end, we just have to see how it plays out.

Well done fella, I'm impressed, you've even dipped your toe back in the dreaded Liverpool thread and survived, keep up the good work.

There have been a few idiotic mentions of Heysel and Hillsborough, but this isn’t the time or place or context to use them. I’m sure most on here recognise that anyway. Of course there’ll always be disagreements & there should be in a forum full of opinions. Keep to football in the football threads and it’s happy days. Nice one, mate.

Or it’s for families like me and my 2 kids, who attend every game, and aren’t embarrassing (well actually my kids say I am, but that’s another story)
It’s not you whose the problem. The school groups normally get put in there are the culprits. We had all those kids who celebrated palaces when we played then last, many kids aren’t bothered and leave early at half time and then the group leaves early at end of the game. I’ve no problem with schools if they don’t celebrate other teams goals.

Having a proper vocal stand would be a huge marketing thing for the club n’all. The Kippax was famous! Watch any old City games back on any platform and in the comments sections you’ll see City fans and fans of other clubs all commenting on how impressive The Kippax was.

We could even use a ready-made marketable name n’all: The Wonderwall.

I think it’d be a huge shot in the arm for the image of the club.
