not a surprise though, monday night matches are wank.Well that was dreadful, no point in pretending otherwise. Estimated attendance 45,000 (at most) atmosphere non existent for maybe 75 minutes.
Dire atmosphere but let’s be honest it was like a training match. Impossible to get any chants going when the game is so slow and all wolves did was defend.
Wolves didn’t make that much noise either and when they did it was targeted at city fans, they were bored too.
Most these empty seats were in the family stand. On paper it’s a good idea but come mid week late games when kids are in school it’s always going to be patchy. The club need to rethink the family stand as it only works on a sat or Sunday.

Sky TV hasn't helped either, loads of fans working shifts can never make it Friday/Monday nights.
Fuckin 'el. SO WHAT!!!!! It mean's fuck all to me how many fans we've got compared to anyone else. So what if we've not got 500,000 tourists to fill the ground. It means any proper fan can get a seat usually. Would you rather have a plastic team with plastic fans or the best team around and a few empty seats? Shame on you that are pandering to the masses with your talksport agreeable comments

True, but it's one of them though. Monday's are crap. Having to drag yourself to the match with no pre-match pint and it's against fucking wolves...... No excuse for not turning up, but I was never likely to be jumping out my seat with excitement.True mate, partly because so many fans either can’t be arsed to turn up or make a noise. It couldn’t have been more different to Liverpool.

4th game in 11 days is a big cost for some, kids aren’t going to go to those games. Why does it have to be 8pm? That’s a pain in the arse too. Midweek games are on the whole wank. I show up but it’s a ball ache at the best of times
Here we go again....it's the family stands fault!!
Fucking kids going to bed before 12:00 on a school night...!!
No, just pointing out most of the empty seats were in the family stand which makes sense as most kids under 10 would be in bed by 8/9 for a school night. Not putting blame on anybody.
The family stand is all season tickets which are sold out meaning we rely 100% on full attendance if not it’s no surprise we have empty seats.
Any where else in the ground you can just give your ticket a mate if you can’t go but the family stand needs to be a child so again back to square one the child will be in bed. To be honest I’m surprised the family stand fill it as much as they do for mid week games.
Iv just got back from the game and put my little one to bed. She will be shattered tom which makes me think is it worth it for late mid week games especially against trams who will just defend. Probably not. so I fully understand why we had so many empty seats.
It just makes me wonder do the club even think about the logistics for families.
