You could see on the telly the front of the corner flag area full of tourists when Halland scored. There are always plenty of them in that area, presumably because they are the shittest seas in the whole stadium. That end of the stadium, which is supposed to be a family type stand, actuially started most of the proper singing that went around the stadium. The fans at the other end are overall more vociferous but mainly sing in indpendant groups, often at the same time.

The euro style is impressive for making noise but I prefer how reactive English fans are.

For a first home champions league game I think it’s been good. Kippax corner In particular excellent. I do think the cheaper tickets have made a difference in the type of crowd

Thought Napoli fans were pretty wank to be honest, similar to United on Sunday, unless you count whistling sometimes when we had the ball.

Have to say that was one of the more enjoyable CL nights at our gaff. Not just on the pitch but off it too. Think it helps that we have a relatively noisy away with some right loons which makes us up our own game. I seem to recall he last time we played Napoli at home in 2017 it was the same.

Big shout out to Kippax Corner who were on it most of the night. 014 right across to 018 and 019 were decent too. Napoli fans were loud as fuck at times but it wasn’t incessant like it usually is from European away fans. Those lulls enabled us to gain traction and get things going. You often can’t hear 010/011 from 015 as the away fans are going at it but I heard them plenty of times last night which helped the songs spread across the whole South Stand

Still pisses me off that we sing about bloody Amorim when we're two up against Napoli.
I know we beat the rags on Sunday but we were singing the same song at Wolves on the first day of the season.
On the other hand; I'll be joining in at full volume on the last day of the season if indeed they do go down.
