Played pretty well tonight, and won quite comfortably. Nice not to be on edge and brilliant to see Foden improving and KDB putting in a shift and getting his reward with a brilliant finish. Phillips still finding his feet but he got valuable minutes and will be needed to support Rodri as we go deeper into the season. Ake; superb again.
I thought they left their feet in a bit nastily 2 or 3 times, and the lad who assaulted/flattened Bernardo might have got a red if there had been VAR; sorry, I mean, if that had been done against a scum player.
Watched it with the volume off after 2 comments about the cost of our sub's.
Well done City. Onwards and upwards.
Come on you hammers!
 
Phillip Walter Foden. When he's on it there isn't anyone else as exciting in the league
