BristolC played well and had a proper go, unlike many teams we play. Proper Cup tie.

Very scrappy performance outside the three goals. But it’s the goals that matter and we go through.

Foden and Aké were very good. de Bruyne had a bobbins first half outside the involvement in the goal but was much better as the game slowed down in the second half. Dias was decent outside a few moments.

But I wasn’t particularly impressed with any other of our players.

Good win, entertaining game. It’s vital for us to have Foden back like this and I’m sorry but I just don’t see it with Kalvin Phillips at City. Maybe cause the standards are high with Rodri/Fernandinho etc. Put Lavia in there for the same games would you notice any difference? Would of saved us £40 million aswell.

Yes decent performance and actually an entertaining game especially with no VAR now a nice home draw but I won’t hold my breath ..

Phillips is not good enough as a replacement for Rodri or Gundogan. Lightweight in the tackle and am immensely disappointed in him
