That's not the issue - they stay in town for the kick offs - it is getting home at 11 to 12 ocklock and then being up again for work at 6 - just not worth it when it is on tv.
Let them start later then!!!
Like it’s on TV. I don’t think Wolves was.I agree with the last bit of that. The wolves game was ten quid wasn't it ? On the general sale. This one it's 20/25 quid in different areas of the ground. A large number of people in the ground for cup games aren't season ticket holders and although not that expensive I think even a 10/15 increase makes a difference and people then don't go.
There are other reasons aswell, bu I think that could be one.

the everton semi final was 15 quid and crept over 50000, but that was a 2nd leg and in the balance, this is more expensive against lower league opposition and is the 1st leg, Everton mustered 34000 against us for the 1st leg, with a decent following from City, yet City got mocked for getting 16000 more for the 2nd leg. Will be a decent crowd, but nowhere near 50000 unless there is a huge surge.

There's a reasonable chance they'll print the kick-off time on the tickets.IF we get through any idea what kick off time is likely to be ? (Got caught out at previous final that kicked off as i was due to be getting to Wembley as had assumed a later kick off time ).

Found my ticket from the Dipper game two years ago and it was 4:30 kick off.
Just had a thought.
Beeb fixtures says Arsenal v City is 2:05 as is rags v Chelsea, so perhaps they'll show the PL game (which ever is played) at 2:05 and the final at 4:30?

It shows the state of the tournament when the KO time isn't known before the semi-finals. They know one team will be from London and the other from either 120 or 200 miles away. If they are basing the KO time on whether they can also show a PL game on the same day then the League Cup needs scrapping.
