Bristol City HOME game tickets

I've just phoned club for something not relating to tonight's game and got through within seconds, which doesn't bode well. I thought I'd be at least 30th in queue or something but no, straight in. I asked him how many we've sold for tonight, which he didn't seem to know but guessed about 41'000 at present and he said ticket sales picked up yesterday but have been steady mostly. So if it is 41'000 at present then a bit of a push today could whack it to 45'000 which wouldn't be bad at all. But the fact that I got through straight away also says we're not banging down the doors for last minute tickets.

I'd imagine those buying on the day would either do it in person at the ticket office or online rather than phoning up so I wouldn't read too much into that. I wouldn't mind betting that the ticket office will be busy around lunchtime in particular. It's surprising how many fans buy on the last minute for these midweek cup games - I've seen thousands and thousands fly off the planner on the day of a CL group game in the past.

41,000 sounds about right looking at the planner. The East and West stand 3rd tiers hold about 11,000 between them and some - probably a few thousand - had been shifted in there before they were taken offline. There's probably approx 3000 or so elsewhere in the stadium still showing I reckon

Make it easier to enter and exit campus on a match day not an hour getting on tram or off car park. Also does anyone know why club text us to come early on Saturday , just to be stood outside cos gates weren't open........thoughts anyone ?

Yeah, I recall thousands selling for Everton game on day of match.

It will end up at close to 46k in my opinion. A great crowd. A lot only decide to go on the day and just get tickets this afternoon and print off at work. There are about 15 City fans in our office - 3 lads just told me they at going and have not sorted tickets out yet.

City will give a few k away to schools etc today and everyone's a winner.

It would help if I could print my e tickets from the site. Link doesn't work. That's two fewer people if they can't sort that little problem!

Don’t be surprised if the attendance is closer to 50k tonight, the lower blocks yesterday were mainly single seats with some blocks having less than a dozen seats in them. I bought mine in 308 my own seat before the planer took the top tiers off and there was plenty already sold. It will creep up as it always does. Well I will be setting off at 3 and looking forward to the game CTID

There was a time when you could have told us to the nearest 100 how many had been sold! What's happened to that!
