Bristol City HOME game tickets

I agree RE Saturday 3pm fixtures being the first choice.

I'd argue this game should have been easier to sell out than Watford. You're correct in saying there are more season ticket holders (who aren't on the cup scheme). However, Watford brought around 700 fans. Leaving a further 2,500 to sell. Bristol will bring 8,000 tonight. Leaving around 47k for City fans. I'd say 30,000 are on the cup scheme... We'll probably sell another 10k leaving 7,000 free (which isn't a bad effort by any means).

My point is that this would be a more appealing game to me than Watford was. It's significantly cheaper, in a semi-final etc. If I had to pick and choose my games this would be top of my mid-week list so far this season.

One thing I wonder is if the transport to and from the ground was improved, would that reflect in our attendances. I know a few blues who're put off by the idea of waiting an hour for a met home.

how many people bought for watford when it was scheduled on NYD and before we got through?

Hi All,

Me again. Me and my mate from work phoned up the ticket office and they said we needed to be members before they would sell us any tickets. Is this the same deal if we wander up to the ticket office before KO?

If anyone does have spares I would be happy to take them off your hands!

Cheers

Tom

We should have weekend season tickets and mid week season tickets put the rest on general sale to both season tickets holders and fill the ground up from the bottom

I get your point but unfortunately Bristol City isn’t a draw.

Was Watford on Tele as well? That has a bearing too.

I'll be there come hell or high water. Too many lean spells from the late 70's onwards to ignore a semi at home, irrelevant of who it is against. CTID

Work commitments get in the way midweek. I’ve had to get my on call covered but some just can’t make it due to work kids etc. It’s always easier to arrange weekends for most and had it been rags people would have probably had the day off but think I’ll watch on tv as no disrespect to Bristol it’s just not as big a draw especially as people are probably skint due to Christmas I think 45000 would be a decent crowd

I'd like to think our Pep Guardiola managed Manchester City were a big enough draw for most Manchester City fans.

The truth is, a lot of our fans have never ever bothered with evening cup games. They just don't 'do' them, no matter the opponent or competition.

Yes I think you will need to be members.

I know James Cleary who is selling on there so can vouch for him if you are not sure.

People having a go at part timers like me,let me fill you in some details, I have a season card in east level 3,I care for my partner overnight and hold down a job,due to a combination of extra care over the holidays and other personal issues I am not fit and well enough to attend tonight much as I would love to,I have been able to attend 4 home matches this season as I do not feel comfortable being away from home for that long,in fact it’s easier for me to pop round to the pub nearby and be home 10 minutes after the final whistle and avoid the travelling time from 5 miles away from the ground.I am sure there must be many more Carers like me who just cannot plan that far in advance when you are looking after a loved one and have to sacrifice things that others may take for granted as I used to.
It doesn’t make me less of a supporter my first match attended was in 1970 and people perhaps need to realise that there are many varied and complicated reasons why local life long Blues like me just cannot be there.
