British gas behaviour

All private sectors try to get their workers onto minimum wage so that the UK taxpayer can fund them to a minimum lifestyle.

You would think that holding the ‘British’ logo would give them a sense of patriotism, they have used it as bargaining tool.

I assume the reference to holding the British label is sarcastic? Personally I would have made a condition of going to the market and leaving state control they should all have dropped the British tag.... but Thatcher and Tories eh?

The engineers they have left are those who scabbed through the strike and the new recruits doing the job for less money.

Lots of the old engineers have set up on there own, if you need work doing use them, they will be cheaper as British Gas wont be taking their cut and you get better service from engineers who know what they are doing.
