The facts are that virtually all acts of terrorism on the western world these days are committed by those brain washed idiots who align themselves with Islam. Nowhere in the Koran does it talk about killing infidels, in fact Islam is meant to be a peace loving religion so don't be fooled by these people. If UK citizens or foreign nationals declare war on innocent UK citizens then there is every justification for taking them out. You might not like it but then I don't suppose you would like it if your car or bus was blown up just because you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Drastic and radical action needs to be taken not just by the UK but by the whole of the civilised world if we are to have a peaceful future

I couldn't give a fuck whether there was an imminent danger to be honest. I am quite happy for anyone who has joined ISIS to be blown into a million pieces particularly if they have made threats against the UK. It may be the thin end of the wedge and maybe I will regret my "laissez faire" attitude to this in years to come but honestly I just find myself incapable of caring remotely about what has happened in this particular instance.

I'm in agreement here, if someone has decided to dedicate their life to being religiously fanatical, to the degree that they are willing to condone, and participate, in the killing of people who don't share their own, warped view of specifically how God should be worshipped, then I'm not going to feel too concerned if their "civil liberties" weren't completely considered and accounted for before they were blasted off the face of the Earth. They weren't killed because they believe in different things to you or I, they were killed because the way they demonstrate their belief in a different way of doing things is to murder innocent people, and threaten those who disagree with them with a painful, and bloody, death.

Christianity isn't a peaceful religion either, if you take the bible and try to apply what it says literally. Books written by men thousands of years ago should be no basis for how you live your life in modern society, and you certainly shouldn't be treating each and every word written in them as absolute truth and the only way of behaving. The bible, like the Quran I suspect (it's not a book I've read it has to be said!), advocates death for people who transgress in the most miniscule and insignificant of ways. Modern sensibilities allow us to filter this archaic nonsense, it's those who wilfully chose not to that are the problem. Those are the ones that make Islam a non-peaceful religion.
